The actress reprised the role in each of the three films that followed the initial. After playing the lead role in Friends the film, she ascended to an all-new level of notoriety. There were numerous nominations and awards for her performances. The show was extremely well-received and aired for 10 years. For her most recent role she played a crucial character as a supporting character in Mothers and Daughters. Awards include those of the TV Guide Award, which she received for her performance on Friends. Another award was the Golden Derby Award that she received for her part in Cougar Town.
